Canned Hot Sauce

Chop all vegetables real fine, soak in oil. Boil tomatoes until tender and process through your Fabio Leonardi tomato mill. Put vegetables and tomatoes in large aluminum kettle. Add sugar, salt, and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil and boil 2 hours. Put in hot canning jars with hot lids and let seal. When ready to eat sauce, add 1/4 cup Minute rice to a pint of sauce and cook 5-6 minutes until rice is done. Very good with fried chicken and French fries.

8 med. onions 6 green peppers 12 hot peppers 1 c. celery 1 c. oil 1 tbsp. cayenne pepper Less than 1/4 c. sugar 1 peck tomatoes Salt to taste
